About Us

Steel Fist Miniatures is a modest hobby business, run by Simon Chick and based in the UK. We attempt to create high quality figures, based on detailed research and a shared passion for history, miniature modelling and gaming.

Steel Fist Miniatures was originally started by Oliver James in 2015, who sculpted the majority of our figures. We now also work with a small number of talented sculptors including Paul Hicks, Yiannis of Talos Miniatures and digital sculptor Samuel Sachs.

Our aim is to make high-quality models available for gamers and collectors. Income is re-invested to make new sculpts and moulds.

In May 2026 the 28mm Samurai range was sold to Athena Miniatures.

Warning

These products may
contain small, sharp pieces that, if swallowed, could be a choking hazard.

If any product, including metal, resin, plastic, wood or paper is eaten seek immediate medical
attention.

Care should be taken when handling metal and resin products, to ensure that sharp edges or points do not cause puncture wounds.

You should always wash your hands after handling unpainted products.

If miniature requires assembly ensure a non-toxic glue is used, wear gloves and use pliers to hold pieces while drying.

A mask should be worn when filing any of our products, and the activity should be undertaken in a well-ventilated area to reduce the risk of inhaling dust.

Material Warnings

Metal products are cast from metal alloy. Do
not lick or ingest the metal.

Ensure that heavy metal miniatures are not dropped on any surface that they may damage.
